Established in 1983, Artzinium is
an ISO 9001:2000 certified company that holding extensive expertise in in
the field of aluminum castings related to general engineering. We have been
synonymous with the most creative and functional designs in the Art &
Architecture market. Our aluminum metal casting product catalog comprises Cast Trellis, Cast
Jallis, Designer Furniture and Structural Components.
At Artzinium adding value to our customers products is part of a
longstanding tradition of innovation. We have the state-of-the-art aluminum metal
casting foundry with facilities for fabrication, machining, heat treatment,
reverse engineering and surface treatment (Anodizing & Painting). Our
designing department is equipped with latest CAD / CAM facilities that
enable us to translate the ideas of the customers into real products. A well
defined Quality Management System based on stringent ISO standards are also
implemented to ensure flawless aluminum castings products. The batch of manufactured aluminum die castings products
are subjected to series of test including spectrograph test for chemical
analysis, yield strength, visual inspections so as to ensure their quality
finish standards.
We treat every customer as a partner, because we see every interaction as an
opportunity to provide a complete solution and not simply a chance to supply
a product. Our all round capabilities include customizing products based on
the drawings and dimensional specifications provided by the clients. Our
spacious warehousing facility with storage capacity of more than 70 units
allow us to meet all the contingency requirements within shortest time
frame. We go beyond customer satisfaction by providing exemplary services
with on time deliveries.
Artzinium has achieved a staggering growth with an installed capacity of 70
M.T / month. We have been successfully catering to the needs of reputed
architects and interior designers across the globe. Further, our company has
made a strong foothold in the competitive markets of Europe, US, Germany,
UK, France, Italy, Canada and Finland.

Fabrication
Artzinium has an integrated facility for fabricating aluminum cast
products. We have most diverse division, with all the equipment necessary to
process your aluminium into virtually any product you desire. Our facilities
are streamlined for Aluminum Sand Casting & Aluminum Gravity Casting, Heat Treatments, Machining
and Surface Treatments. Before casting, the molten aluminum is treated to
ensure cleanliness and purity. Alloying ingredients are added to improve
strength or provide desired properties. We implement most versatile sand
casting/ gravity casting methods. Virtually any pattern can be pressed into
a fine sand mixture to form a mold into which the aluminum is poured. This
is a slow process, but it is usually more economical for intricate designs,
or when a very large casting is needed.
In addition, we have a complete welding shop fitted with the latest
equipment for TIG welding of castings into custom-assembled parts. Our
well-equipped fabrication department enables us to respond quickly to our
customer's requests.
Why Alumunium?
Reverse Engineering
Reverse engineering concept is essential for reducing the design time and
obtain highest quality of aluminum castings product. The concept is based on complete CAD/CAM
and Rapid Prototyping technologies, which involves the DESIGN LOOP, the
process that includes concept
development-design-engineering-production. Starting from the
digitalization of a physical model it is now possible to generate a 3D CAD
model that becomes the initial step for new product development.
With the latest acquisition of a sophisticated projector, we provide the
most precise reading in measuring the radius and the flatness of the
aluminum cut. Our engineers can draft extrusion die for any type of aluminum
casting. We have assisted many customers in designing, re-engineering and
reverse engineer designs for different applications.
Surface Treatment
The appearance and surface quality of cast aluminum is perfectly
satisfactory for many applications, but it still requires surface treatment.
This final stage of processing cast aluminum provides a superior corrosion
resistance and enhances the visual appearance. Aluminum provides an ideal
base for finishing, and Artzinium rely on two finishing methods: Anodizing
and Coating (or painting) of aluminum surface.
Anodizing
Anodizing is environmentally safe electrochemical process for converting
aluminum metal surface into porous aluminum oxide, which creates an end
product whose finish is more durable and weather resistant. The process
undergoes pre-treatment, rinsing, etching, desmutting, anodizing, coloring
and sealing. We have a separate anodizing plant with built up area of 5000
sq ft. This plant is operated as a separate unit away from foundry premises.
The anodizing plant is equipped with the following facilities
- Cleaning Tanks-16x3x6 ft
- Anodizing bath-16x3x6 ft
- Rectifier 1000 Amps, 32 volt
- Cooling Plant
- Double handed buffing machine
- Dyeing tanks
Powder Coating & Painting
(http://www.finishing.com/Library/pennisi/powder.html)
Artizinium's pre-treatment options for powder coating ensures the highest
performance and corrosion protection for the components. We utilize
electrostatic paint processing technique for producing a high specification
coating which is relatively hard, abrasion resistant and tough. The final
coating is continuous and will vary from high gloss to flat matt depending
on the design of the structure. Thin powder coatings can be bent but this is
not recommended for exterior applications. Powder coatings can be applied
over a wide range of thickness depending upon the requirement. Moreover, the
choice of colours and finishes are almost limitless.
